Copying the geometry of the bike used by the likes of Rui Costa on the Lampre-Merida World Tour team, it is a professional level carbon road bike. The Merida Reacto 5000 is an aero road bike with racing credentials. Frame tubes developed in the wind tunnel by the Taiwanese manufacturer combine with aero details to make a bike designed for maximum speed, efficiency and comfort. Reacto 5000 LTD balances aerodynamics, acceleration, handling and comfort. Designed to minimise the effect of air resistance on the bike, maximising speed without sacrificing other factors such as weight, stiffness and comfort. It retains the versatility and comfort of a road bike, but takes off when you put the foot down, and holds well at high speed.
Quick & Fast, the Reacto 5000 is at its best on flat and rolling roads when you just want to get your head down and do some hard work. Slam it into a big gear, wind up the speed, and you bowl along beautifully.
