NICOLAI HELIUS AC (HAND-BUILT) FULL-SUSPENSION TRAIL MTB (M SIZE)
Anyone who knows bike knows what Nicolai is a legendary frame maker. With their signature extra-large fish scale welds and beefy aluminum tubes and bars, each frame was meticulously hand-welded in a quaint town in Germany. This bike is practically bomb-proof, and if you're looking to buy a bike that will last you a lifetime (and more), this is it. With a full-build of premium components costing more than S$10K, this reliable steed is truly in a class of it's own, now available at a bargain.
Built with the Truvativ Hammerschmidt gearbox-crank, this innovation does away with all the pitfalls of a front derailleur while still allowing you to shift like a pro with its internal planetary gear, IN AN INSTANT. No kidding, come for a test ride and feel the ridiculously fast and crisp shifting of the Hammerschmidt with a click of the XO lever. With 2 speeds up front, there's absolutely no need for the more pricey 12 speed systems which is why it sits right at home with a top-of-the-line SRAM XO drivetrain, littered with carbon parts.
The X-Fusion fork is unconventional, and that's exactly what was intended for this bike. The HLR damper means that for committed tinkerers and tweakers it’s sublime, allowing a level of adjustment to suit you own riding style and the trail conditions that many more expensive forks struggle to match.
Needless to say, a set of Chris King ISO hubs is just the icing on the cake, finishing of the premium build with its signature, unmistakable buzz. 27.5" wheels means it's able to handle whatever you have the guts to throw at it in the trails, and you can be assured this ride will come out smiling. This ride was recently serviced and rebuilt by the great folks at Attitude Bikes (
