Cane Creek ZS-6 2005 description:
The ZeroStack design uses very low profile aluminum cups that “hide” down in the head tube of the bicycle’s frame. The ZeroStack cups are compatible only with specifically machined head tubes and cannot be retrofitted to an existing bike with traditional headset cups. The ZS-6 uses stainless steel bearings as an upgrade over the ZS-2. For 2003 all 1-” ZS headsets are compatable with Cane Creek Interlok spacers.

Construction: The ZeroStack headset’s low-profile cups are CNC-machined aluminum. The ZS-2 utilizes bearing steel grade cartridge bearings. The ZS-6 steps up to stainless steel cartridge bearings for longer lasting durability.

Who rides it: Limited to ZeroStack-equipped bikes. Contact us with compatibility questions.

Zero Stack (ZS): Offers a low stack height, the security of bearing cups. and utilizes bearing cups that are hidden inside the head tube.

-maybe the price?

-i previously used the cane creek S2 and had no problems with it
-cane creek headsets are trustworthy
